Huawei release it's new foldable PC, 'MateBook Fold Ultimate Design Edition', starting at RMB 23,999 yuan. Shortly after its release, the popular blogger "Yang Changshun Repair Master," who has millions of followers, conducted a teardown of the Huawei MateBook Fold.
According to the teardown, the internal frame of the MateBook Fold is crafted from a single piece of aluminum alloy using CNC milling.
The CPU is codenamed HiSilicon Hi 9600, and its marking still retains the "2035-CN" identifier, consistent with previous models such as the Kirin 8000A, Kirin 9000S, Kirin 9010, and Kirin 9020 series.

The power management, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NearLink chips in the MateBook Fold are also all from HiSilicon.
HiSilicon Hi1105 delivers a high-performance Wi-Fi/Bluetooth®/GNSS/FM/IR solution, supporting:
- 2x2 Wi-Fi 6 (160MHz)
- 2.4GHz + 5GHz DBDC (Dual-Band Dual-Concurrent)
- Bluetooth® 5.2/UHD
- GNSS L1 + L5 dual-band positioning
- FM radio & IR (infrared) control
- PCIe/SDIO interfaces
With high integration, superior performance, and low power consumption, it enables advanced connectivity. Its exclusive Wi-Fi Narrowband Mode extends transmission range for enhanced video/image relay.
